No Traffic Tickets Today in Bkk

Traffic police in Bangkok will not be giving out traffic tickets in Bangkok today. The move is in celebration of the Thai Police Day on October 13, 2010.

Meanwhile in Kuala Lumpur......The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has donated 19 vehicles to the Royal Malaysian Police Force worth a total of RM5.5mil.

The vehicles comprising nine Australian made Holden Commodore cars, two Proton Perdanas and eight Harley Davidson 1700cc motorcycles will be used as escort vehicles for the Johor Sultan and members of his royal family.

Sultan Ibrahim presented the donation at a function held at Bukit Aman yesterday, which was attended by Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.
