Old tyres

Hi. im about to get a new set of tyres fitted to me bike. the old ones are just about stuffed. like theres no tread left so they will not pass wof. do nz bike garages charge to 'dispose' of the old tyres or would someone be interested in buying my old tyres maybe? i have no clue iof they are any good for the track as the rear is not wof legal now. as i understand it, a treaded tyre has to be fit for wof for track days

rear is conti race attack medium 190 / 55. front is a bridgestone sportmax which has some life left in it.

I usually rock up to the garage change my tyres and they just charge me half an hours labour. Don't think they ever charged me to dispose my old tyres.

most will have a small charge to cover disposal
if they dont then they are probably making it elsewhere in the sale

Its the total cost fitted you should worry about

Pity you are so far away,I need to add to my collection of old tyres,and would gladly pay lots of money for your ones.
