I understood the new correct term is 'Native American' Which makes me wonder as I am pretty sure the original 'natives' did not call it America.

    But I may be wrong.

It's the woman's fault for having the surname "Dick shit"

If your name was Arthur Penis, you would expect to get the odd jibe about it, FFS!

Without having read any of the posts that have gone before...

Paul Henry made some poor choices around dissing that name. He was told how it was pronounced and chose to take a different path and make an english call on the spelling. That was done for ratings, but was very poorly called. He would have got away with it however, if he had not drawn his personaly spin on how someone looks. Very unfortunate. I blame his employer for not laying down better lines.

Paul Henry is a funny guy, he pushes the envelope of what is acceptable.

The reaction to this astounds me. He wass a naughty boy, he loses 2 weeks pay, no doubt that will bite. To keep this issue going is simply increasing his value to TVNZ.

Complete over reaction by sll sorts of people. I am picking Paul is raising a glass to him self as I type this I would.

Hmmm see interesting that as I just watched an indian debate about it and they are pronouncing it DICKSHIT and not when making comments about how Paul said it..seems the pronunciation was on the money it was the joking about that and the whole 'inference about India being shit' that was considered offensive

...I'm wondering if it's just the spelling that is Dixit.

ALSO I sense all this is just a media orgy anyway...it started apparently with the GG stuff and now they are all busy dredging up previously 'poor taste' but clearly not quite enraging enough to the sensitives at the time. ...Drama - oh how we loves it eh

It's her husbands name, and yes she thought about hyphenating but decided her maiden neme Ramadin wasn't going to work too well......

    Ramadin-Dick-Shit.

Using her mothers maiden name was just as bad.

Funny tonight on 1 news paul henrys correct pronunciation of the bloody indians name as proved by their own tv, followed by an indian attempting to subvert local politics in Auckland, followed by a rich mans lad who doesn't go home from boarding school for the weekend but instead goes out sculling neat spirits with the lad of one of ak's fkwit mayors who then cries on tv trying to get more votes, followed by a bunch of brian dead people going on about how they didn't kill the babies whilst fkin their brothers and taking "p"

and paul henry is the bad guy ha fkin ha

    No argument from this quarter.
