does anyone here subscribe to threads? is it worth it, or is it easier to just browse the new posts?

I subscribe to threads but one thing I don't like is when I get the messages there is no quoted text. This means that that lots of the messages don't make any sense so have to go browse the thread again anyway.
Life is difficult because it is non-linear.

I used to subscribe to eberyone I posted in or had an interestin, but then I found that some threads get literally hundreds of responses, so my inbox would have hundreds of mails from KB in it.

Now I don't bother, because if anything important is said it's said by me anyway.

Seriously though, I limited which threads I do subscribe to these days.

I find it makes it easier to keep track of them. That way I don't have to dig through all the new posts to find the ones that I want to keep an eye on. I can just find them in my user CP.

I've turned the emails off though.

The problem with you and Quasi is you don't know a bit of culture when you see it. Heathens.

I have a firefox window open 24/7 solely for KB, the first tab is the new posts the rest are threads.

Just do it that way rather than filling up my inbox. Generally check for new posts more than I check for emails anyway.

Scary... same here. Tabbed browsing.. my taskbar would look like my desktop (NO ICON ROOM LEFT :|) if I didn't have tabbed browsing!
