After finishing Race 1 and heading from the track back to the Scrutineering shed to put my bike back on its stand, l decided to head down to the office to get the results of that race. I was only away from the bike for a very short time and on my return my partner went to check the tank to see how much fuel was left in it for my final race of the day and asked me if l had the key to the bike.
After telling him that l didn't he told me that the key wasn't in the ignition and neither he nor me knew what had happened to it. We searched high and low for it and even asked those who were around us if they knew who took my key out of the bike to which nobody knew anything.
Obviously some thieving MONGREL (whoever you are) had taken it for whatever reason l don't know and ended up ruining the rest of my day to which l could no longer continue my racing.
So a Warning to all of you Racers out there Please be very careful of your belongings when your not around your bike or your gear cos as soon as your back is turned it can vanish before your eyes.
Sad to think that a days Racing can end this way and to the Low life who took it you will get your well deserves 1 day and l hope it hurts you as much as it did me.
