Read your blog Raftn.
I can relate to this...both my girls are big bike enthusiasts and ride with me as often as possible.
My youngest has her own dirt bike and my Grandson at 4 yrs old lives and breaths bikes. The bigger the better.
Great to see your getting sorted with the kids.
Trust me i know how hard that can be. I was lucky as my girls were both Daddy's girls.
Good on ya.
Trumpydom!
Plus he has good gear on. It's hard to find gear that fits kids in NZ, and they grow out of them so quickly. Your story gave me warm fuzzies.![]()
i remember the 1st trip i did on a back of a road bike with my old man, we lived in whakatane at the time and he took me up to baypark, i must have been about 10 at the time, he had just sold a racecar and was helping the set it up, i remember being stopped and told not to lean in teh corners as well,
best part of the trip was him taking me around baypark and doing 100 mph down the back straight,
i promtply told mum when i got home and day was not popular for a while,
I certainly can relate on a couple of different angles
Awesome stuff
On occasion I was dropped off at kindy by my old man on a Mach III - beat that!
Too small to sit on the back so was perched on the tank...
dude some of my very best memories as a biker are with Baby bikie (not so baby anymore). He travelled round the country on the back of my xj900
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
