Round 3 North Island Series at Roys Hill INFO

Here is a copy of an email I sent to our email database this week... drop me a line at buckets.pacclub@hotmail.co.nz if you wish to be added to the system.

    .................................................. ....

    PLEASE TAKE NOTE...

This weekend.. The North Island Series Round 3 comes to Roys Hill, Hastings. Also running this weekend is the Pacific Motorcycle Club regular series.

Something along the lines of 2 North Island Series races and 3 Pacific Series races...! Plus practice.

Because the North Island Series has attracted a lot of attention entry priority will be given to those that have attended firstly the 2 rounds already attended and then followed by those that have only attended 1 round, generally A and B grade will be available maybe with an option of a C grade if required.

Bikes need to conform to MNZ regulations and our usual track protection requirements of nylon in areas likely to cause track damage in the event of a fall.

    Practice on Saturday from 3 - 5pm.
(Saturday is not a free day.. if you do not wish to attend Sunday please pay your fee on Saturday)

    Sign in Sunday from 8:30
    (no engines until 9:30)

We hope to be riding by 10 - 10:30 if we can get organised in time.

Above details may change if conditions change or if we can see a better way to deal with things on the day.

    Any questions please ask....

    Thanks,

    Steve Bennett

Big ups to the organisers and marshalls for another brilliantly well run event!

I think alot of time was saved by having the marshalls there, we definately got a shite load of riding in!!

I'll add my vote of thanks to the pacific club guys for another well run and excellent event.
If you've never been to Roys Hill, you need to go.

Yes a big thanks to the people that made it possible and ran the two days of practice & racing. The sun was there and thankfully not to the same temp as saturday, so wasnt as hard on the tyres as practice.

Great that both Wgtn & Akl riders turned up to the Hill, as well as more locals turning up to have a go. The racing was great to watch as well as everyone being on a gas in all grades with battles throughout the fields and dont know how I much closer to Tylers back wheel I could get without hitting it in the last race, but all good fun.

Havent seen the photos of Grants adventure as yet, though hopefully the photos capture it all and will upload them later if theyve turned out ok.

Hey Peter, do you know if anyone got a photo of me when I ran off the track and up the grass bank then back onto the track? That was a golden moment in my racing career!

I dont think it'll be among our shoots, as the old timer was out there with you and I never saw that! Maybe Ray or Andrew got it?
