Thinking about it further, I'm sure if you fitted a powerband backwards, the power would diminish with revs. I'm sure Honda do this on purpose in order for their buyers not to get scared of the potential when riding.

Wait wait wait, I'm getting confused. How many golf balls do I need?? Come on guys, I've got the cams out of the stinkwheel and my engine builder is waiting for me to get this sorted so we can decide between a peripheral port or a j-port. God damn, even google is no help. Wish I'd never opened this thread now.

You wanna be a bit carefull here Fraser. Add too many golf ball inners and you're powerband will be far too savage. Not being disrespectful but only holding on toone bar when that puppy kicks in could be disaterous. You've been warned big fella.....

........if you were to have a few extra golf balls in the spares kit...do you think their tension would diminish over a season or would you recommend , fresh balls for all occasions...

Just fit these ones - http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...products_id=30 - they are what Rossi uses on the M1.

Your balls should always be fresh. ALWAYS! You never know when they'll be checked out.

Thanks WT. But as my grandpappy used to say, 'there ain't no better way of dying than on a cam'ed up j-ported two stroke overloaded with golf ball inners'.

We all used to think he was crazy, but now I understand him.

....maybe thats why we dont get lapped a lot by 197cc Villiers powered stuff ,these days..the ancient art of golf balls + two strokes = big huge bulging powerbands, has been forgotten...gonna break out the old James...

Will it work if I put 2 power bands on my CBR with some bigger injectors inside the carburettors and RX7 rotors with Commodore push rods inside the engine?

    Your full of shit.
Power band is the thing that holds your testicles together.
2-strokes have a very tight power band, so you can hang really big balls off them. As you get older your balls begin to shrivel up, so it is recommended that you change your bike to first a very peaky 4 stroke. This has a slightly wider power band, so you can flap you sack in the wind and feel young again.
Then when your balls are tiny you need a very wide power band - so you change to a Harley, a diesel or similar. The wide power band, and the small balls means you can tuck your nuts into your socks.
It is a good idea to ride in groups at this stage, as all your tiny balls add up to one big set - and you can scare off predators.

I hit my powerband the other day and it threw me off.
Is it possible to get 'beginner' or adjustable powerbands?
