    Mrs Stig busts her leg

    Honestly...what a pisser~!

We had a caldina that had done less than 1000km in a year coz all we did was ride the bike.

So, I sold it after replacing two batteries in 12 months coz I figured we didn't need it.

Well, the missus has bust her ankle. No way she will be on another bike till New Year at least, so the beautiful bandit had to go to get us a hospital taxi.

(It was all just coming together too)

Is there a moral to the story? Probably not, but if I hadn't flicked the car because we didn't need it, I mighta still had the bike and a Caldina and not a stupid Nissan sedan.

However, any suggestions for what I should be looking at for my next 2 wheels will probably be laughed at unless you are more intelligent than the missus.

(Or swap for a late model Cefiro)

Blackbird? Stupidly reliable like a honda, good 2up bike, assuming that's what you want.

Ridden the boss's one, granted it has sorted suspension (ohlins rear and racetech front), aftermarket system (stock pipes and headers are really heavy), removed the centre stand for weight loss.

Other than that, only problem was the torque. So much, I had no idea that burbling in 6th towards wellington meant I had a chat with mr cop who didn't believe me I didn't know I was doing 136

Only speeding ticket ever... evil bike, brilliant at long distances.

    But, the crack likes me.
I regret selling my GN all those years back.
I could have kept it for a paper weight.

have just spent a bit of time looking at pics of the 'bird, and honestly i reckon for the same money ya get a much sharper lookin' bike with the sprint.

i think i would far prefer the zx14 if it came down to a jappa

The sprint is a very nice looker. ZX14 would certainly do the job
