Great day despite some rather minor delays for no apparent reason {being modest here lol} Felt great at the end of the day, as i showed off how much the superbike school had taught me!

QUALIFYING
Was very very wet, im running cut-slicks so i had to be careful with the throttle and lean angles. But i took it easy {ish} and safely without any close calls managed 2nd on the grid, behind a bucket bike with wets which seemed to have better straight line speed than my 250!

RACE 1
Got a good feel for the track on the warm-up lap, so when it came tiem to start i was realy confident, bike pulled abit of a wheelie off the line i got the hole shot and stayed out front for the first 3 corners, until the bike with wets got me and all i could do it follow behind him with my wheels sliding and close calls happening regualy. But i happy with that as with dry tires theres only so mcuh you can do on a wet track.

RACE 2
Got another an average start 2 bikes did get infront of me,being buckets i got past both of them with ease and stayed out front the whole race, didnt have any ss150's or prolite 250s come near me and i won the race with closest person behind me being ken on another 250 about 200 metres away. Felt great to finally win on the big track!.

Thanks AMCC for using hampton downs, great venue apart from obvious construction going on with machines everywhere ect.
