If that's the way you dress-up your turkey specials, it's going to be a quiet year!

Yup...wet tent...wet clothes....and it was still raining when we left around 11am. I didn't fancy a 2nd night in da rain and I didn't fancy being tired and hung over for an intense learning curve this week at work. Sounds like the weather picked up and you all had a awesome time.

Got a similar pic of a sparrow spread-eagled (haha, get it 'eagled') beside the grille-emblem on the Thunderbird "Life imitating art"...well death actually..

My second Woodstock Rally and I LOVED it I had some troubles with my NT 400 on Saturday morning so our early departure ended with a 180 km round trip from Goon town to Lake Lindon and back, but best a sulky bike is safe at home in the garage than needing a trailer ride from some wet West Coast locale with no phone coverage! (turned out to be crap in the fuel lines... I should ride more often to blow s*it out! Thanks to Mr Triple for spending his annual leave day fixing my bike xo).
By the time we came home and reloaded our gear (and me) onto the Tiger it was noon before we got away so we were pretty happy to see there were plenty of tent spaces available (a big thanks to those who decided drying out at home was more attractive, though a shame to miss catching up with you!).
Had a fantastic time catching up with everyone else and rocking out to the "Floyd Experience"! That was something else!!
Seems it was meant to be that I was bikeless... though no one would wish injuries on a fellow rider I ended up with the task of riding a slightly beaten GSR home on Sunday.... after I got used to the wonky handle bars and only a front brake I REALLY enjoyed the ride... what a guttsy little bike... first thing I did Sunday evening was check Trade-Me for one of my own!!

Great catching up with you all, had a blast... bring on the next one!
    Cheers,
    Em

Good to hear you had a great time down here.
Pity we did not catch up, next time.

Yes sorry we did not catch up with more people.
But understandable why more people did not ride over on Friday.
But was amazed how many riders that did turned up real late at night to the rally site.
And I do like to try out the less travelled roads, sorry about all the gravel or garden path as WOF puts it. (not really)

Yeah a pity it was so wet and good to hear to cleared up for the Saturday for the rest of you.

Well I'm old now, don't feel any different tho.

PS: I rode our old Moto Guzzi MKIII for old time sake and she went well for an old girl.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

Em has pretty much described our trip so just wanted to add that I had a blast! REALLY keen on the Saturday night band, Floyd is awesome. I did feel a bit seedy Sunday morning! Two hands, two cans seemed to be the go for me... and I paid for it in the light of day!
