    New Victory High Ball

Blacked out Vegas frame, Hammer front end with 16 inch lace wheels (whitewall tyres!), Apehangers and shorty fender.

The apes rotate for that you can have them lower, which is interesting

    A factory bobber.

    106 motor, 6-speed gearbox.

    I like it

Tres tasty. High Ball on a 12" saddle height is kinda funny though.

Low-Ball would have been a bit too fraught though methinks

Not bad. I like the 106 engine. Much better than any Harley I've ridden so far. Love the spoke wheels. The front tyre does not look like a 16" in the photos. 130/90x16 front and 150/80x16 rear. Finally a return to sensible tyre sizes.

Six speed gearbox is overkill on any of that style of bike for mine. It could get by with 4 - 3 and an overdrive.

Sooner or later they will listen.

Somewhere in Minnesota an engineer will see a light globe that says 'Dave is right', we are aiming for a minimalist design and they make you row it thorough three gears it doesn't need.

You can never have too many gears.

The new Vision Trike looks good.

Not that it makes any difference, but on this sort of bike it's like the Department of redundancy Department.
    Fiiirst.....secooond, click, click, fifth.
You can comfortably skip two gears every time on a 8 Ball.
To me it's also bobber, hot rod and kustom kultcha - they are made cooler by what is removed from it or is minimised and the solution isn't more gears - it's always more horsepower! (Big Daddy would be proud of me)
But then it's a mass produced vehicle and all the sound reasoning that goes with that.

    Vision trike looks good.

That's not a bobber at all.

But you can see they are trying to hit the traditional american custom look.
