Tune ECU for Triumph and KTM

Downloaded and installed Tune ECU which is a free software program to remap Triumph and KTM engine management systems.
I used it to remap the ECU on my Daytona 675 to allow for the Triumph TOR exhaust system fitted to my bike. Super simple, took about 20 minutes to verify that I didn't have the right map in the ECU and to download a new map into it.
It also allows you to read fault codes, test various sensors, adjust things like when the cooling fan comes on as well as adjust your speedometer to read accurately etc.
A really cool toy which is FREE. No need to pay for Tuneboy or Power Commanders and the like.
Get your copy from here: http://www.tuneecu.com/TuneECU_En/index.html
All you need then is a USB to OBD2 cable to connect your laptop to your bike and you're away laughing.
These cables are dirt cheap on Ebay:
    USB-cable-KKL-409-1-VW-AUDI-OBD2-OBD-USB-VAG-C49
Less than NZ $16.00 including shipping from Hong Kong. You need to make sure you get the right cable which has the FTDI chipset otherwise it won't work.
For KTM's you need to make an adaptor as they don't have the OBD2 plug? Instructions for this can be found on the Tune ECU website.

I've had TuneBoy hooked up to my S3 for the past 3 years. Next bike will definitely be TuneECU

From memory I don't think this system works with my TT600 so I ended up having to buy a TuneBoy. Pity.

I have a thread on tuneboy somewhere and how it over rode any changes made by the ktm mechs. Effectively they couldn't tune it, so pulled it out again, back to relying on ktm maps
