That was a good ride today.

But it was good. Looking forward to the next one.

    Todays ride

A great day a for ride, a few of us about 12, meet at AB paps for our run south, due to a bit of fog on 22 we took a slightly longer route to get there.

From AB paps we rode to Drury, left at the off ramp and up to Waihoehoe rd and across to Ararimu over the hill to the Hunua-Pararimu rd and quickly down the Happy Valley, on to H/way2 for about 30 seconds and onto Koheroa rd to Mercer. Over the river and up Mercer Ferry rd and along to 22.
A quick stop to talk a bit of shit and formulate the days plan at the school car park, and away again.
It was still abit foggy, but road was dryish and fast, 3 of our group rode as far as Glen Murray and then returned, the rest of us braved the slightly conditions and made it to Naragwhia, fuel up, bit to eat and new plan..

4 of us decided to ride over to Raglin, nice quick pace down to Whatawhata and over the hill. After a bit of a chat we headed back(even had our own escort to the edge of town).

From there back to Huntly, and via our fav bit of road, Rotwaro, Hetherigton Rd and 22...

a great days ride, thanks to all that came, good to ride with some old mates, and to meet a couple of new faces.

Rider of the day, Wonko, doing well to keep up with the flash bikes, good on you mate..

Was tempted to join you, Dave, but I had a feeling there might be a bit of fog on 22, so went up SH16 with Zed - glorious sunshine, dry roads, light traffic, no cops.

I think I might be cured...

Yeah I just go and ask the tree in the back yard if it's going to rain or shine - 50/50 results! :spudwhat: (I know what you meant Dave )

I'm glad your group had a blast today mate, catch you next time maybe.
