    So did I!!
First time I have done it!
What a freaking awesome route!! From Tairua to Matarangi, Coromandel township, Thames, Auckland. In one aftenoon - what a ride!!

    Simply beaurriful!!!
But how sore was my ass.... ?

PS the route from Thames to Tairua is nice, but has some CRAPPY roadworks on it - about 3km from the Thames turnoff, for about 3/4km that was quite dodgy on a sportsbike... big sharp slippery rocks!
But it did give me the excuse for me tell the love-of-my-life as to why I should go the long way around home from the bach!
