+1. Which is what swayed me to get a Nokia again. I use a cell phone (plus 3G for ActiveSync) for work, and I can get about 5 days between charges on my new Nokia.

I've had a lot of Smart phones in the past, and they usually needed charging daily.

Personally I don't find it too much of a hassle to plug the phone in over night. As long as it does what I need it to do for a whole day then I couldn't give a rats if it will last 3 days or whatever without juicing it up again.

My E71 would go 2 days between charges after a couple of years, but it was barely ever turned off. Borrowing a Bold 9000, it can do two quiet days, like the weekend, otherwise it needs a nightly charge. All my phones are pushed quite hard tho. They are tools for a job, not a toy.

After having an endless supply of smart phones, having tried them all, big and small, I now have the most basic Nokia sold by 2 Degrees. I can throw it (literally) onto the ground, and ignore it for a week, and it's still ready to go. No camera, no colour screen, no custom ring tones, no FM radio, no bullshit. Just glorious call quality and battery life. It won't be till smart phones give you a hand job that I'll go back.

really? cause i just got a galaxy S and I'd have to say it's the buy of the year for me. But I don't like calling people so I don't, people will call me. I found the call quality fine, the hardest part for me was figuring out how to answer the fooken thing! Txt, email, surf the web, play music, watch vids and it fits, just, in ya pocket! Choooooice!

I have finally bought my very first piece of technology which outranks my kids phones! I'm posting here from my iPhone4 and cant get over how easy it is to use. My laptop is currently undergoing a system scan and I'm taking advantage of trying out the interdweeb functions of my new toy.
The last Nokia I had was not very user friendly ( altho in fairness it was one of those telecom ones you can put a vf sim into). Since getting this iphone barely a week ago I've found it so easy to find my way around. Typing is obviously not quite as easy as on a proper keyboard (especially since i use all fingers when i type), but to be a le to do this from a phone is pretty damn cool!
