    No.

If you are racing and someone times you and you are racing at consistent fast times then that is how fast you can go. That way there will be know burglars in B grade. Also safer in A garde. Everything fair love war all that.

The time would have to be agreed on and it would have to be good weather and all that like for like.

Over the whole 2 hours just get every bike's top 10 fastest lap times and total them up. Would at least be lots of track time available and no big rush to stay out there if ya can't be assed doing 2 hours or having your bike out there for 2 hours. Just an idea.

I think it should be a little more controlled than that the person needs to know that they are on the clock.

Lets concentrate on getting as many people to the track for a great meeting the timing thing can wait.

Yeah I'm just keen to have a few 10 or 15 lap races then just be casual about letting whoever have a go on my bike. Last endurance was fun but I couldn't afford the tire bill! Having my bike compete for 2 hours straight means new tires. I have a few people that have been chatting to me for a while about having a go at buckets. They are ok riders too.

I'm not sure I can last an endurance race but would love to have another go at the fantastic Kaitoke track. Any other Aucklanders interested?

If we're thinking about doing timing for the endurance we may have to look at hiring transponders eh, anyone know where and how much to hire?
Personally I would prefer an A grade 1hour enduro and a B grade 1hour enduro rather than 2hours. It just seems unnecessary, one hour is actually enough and normally everyone is stuffed and the spectators/other competitors are bored by then watching 2 bikes that are still going riding round and round.

Sounds OK but one of the points I was after was to get new people to have a go. It would be great to have a B race with all bikes in it. That is all the A bikes have some one else having a go in the B race.

Yeah I thought that too, but if you'd turned up to the P&J for their birthday bash you would have been surprised.
Don't you look at my accountant.

I was going to leave it until the day so we could take into account what the people who turn up want.
But here's goes - subject to change etc.

    Bike check
    Session 1: 30 mins Testing A then B grade
    Session 2: 10 min A grade
    Session 3: 10 min B grade
    Session 4: 10 min newbies
    Session 5: 1 hour A grade
    Session 6: 1 hour B grade
    Session 7: 15 min A grade
    Session 8: 15 min B grade
Session 9+: Anything I can fit

Unless YOU turn up with lap scorers and flaggies YOU will be doing any timekeeping and flagging required. I have not arranged any prizes - this is a day to enjoy.

Now shut up about how it should be arranged and start the smack-talk.

That seems unlikely I would have remembered. Maybe you had been drinking. Or I had. I forget. Or don't remember much.
