A few points the those that can't wait:

Session 4 for Newbies is a free session for those that have NEVER ridden a bucket before but are considering getting one. ie. they must be at least 13 years old, can ride a motorcycle etc. Nobody learning to ride etc will be allowed. This is not a learn to ride session. This is a 'do I like racing' session.

Everybody who goes onto the track will sign a disclaimer. That means everybody.

Anyone taking part in any session other than Session 4 will pay the full $40. I don't care what time you get there or how long your bike lasts.

Anyone breaking the Kart Club rules or the Bucket group rules will be asked to leave. These will be rules with be covered in riders briefing. If you have ever raced buckets and been at Kaitoke you will know them.

And that's it for starters. Happy?

Thank you. People are asking you know. I like the idea of a newbie session.

Who is bringing along what spare gear as it would be nice to know what extra gear there will be (again people are asking).

I have a spare set of leathers and a back protector I'm more than happy for someone to borrow.
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.

    Thumbs up

I think we should have a race where erery one starts at the same time. Each race is 10 laps long and the bottom 2 drop of. There is a time limit so when the winner crosses the line there is 2 min before the start of the next race. Like in super cross

Haha that sounds fun Andrew. A bit hard on the poor B graders who will get far less track time though. Unless we run another race straight after where the fastest 2 drop off (making them the winners anyway) but at least then the B graders would get more laps too

I agree Hamish. Would it be possible to have individual bikes do laps to find out who is the fastest as we did last year instead?

I would be very keen to have my bucket up and running for this meeting.
As to wether I will or not depends on many things, but I would be quite keen to turn up for a ride on a bucket to see what it is like. Something to keep me motivated.

I have leathers but not a back protector.

That would be awesome. I will see how I am going by next weekend on my bucket. And if everything is turning to shit I will take you up on your offer.

All I have left to do is a bit of crash protection, wire the sump, tidy up the loom and fit the seat unit properly. But that could take longer than I expect.

five minute job. I've had an FXR from road legal to bucketable in a week.
I would offer to help but it's a bit of a commute.
