There does seem to be too much cop bashing. Wouldn't do their job for quids.
And not all of us want some nanny "you don't have to be responsible for your own actions" state. Another Labour "when I want your opinion, I'll give it to you" bullshit.

So can totally understand where you're coming from.

And for the record he didn't get the "favour".
Firstly, at 15 years old, are you really sure he was actually a cop and not a pedophile cop impostor (as they use this trick regularly....).

If indeed it was an actual cop, then yep, shame on the one that spoils it for all the thousands of others trying to do an honest job well under extreme and constant criticism. Those scum have no place in society, let alone in the blue uniform.

NZ Police have a VERY high standard of integrity and if this officer is in fact guilty of what you are accusing then, his feet wouldn't even touch the floor on his way out the door.

He was a sworn policeman in uniform. My saving grace was a neighbour driving past who stopped and asked what was going on, the cop said "nothing" and then jumped back in his car and drove off. But sadly I have heard from others that this sort of behaviour with teenage girls does go on. And unfortunately whilst the majority of policeman are very good at their jobs and are there to provide a service to the public, there is amongst them those few bad apples, who take advantage of the authority they hold and who are no better than the criminals they are supposed to protect us from. Do these bad apples treat the police force as there own personal gang? In my opinion absolutely.

I was 15 and late getting back to school. More concerned with a nun with a strap or worse detention. LOL. I did tell my neighbour what had been going on, and she reported it to my parents. Unfortunately neither of us bothered to get a badge number or licence plate number. So sadly this policeman never did get reported and god knows how many others he tried this on.
