Yesterday morning, heading into Martinborough with the 'posse' behind me and I come off the bridge straight into the local coppers radar at 114kmh

Lights, camera acrtion, another cop does a mad u-turn in front of the team just to chase little ol me

he got the shock of his life as he flew past where i had pulled over for him LOL must have thought I was gonna run!

He jotted my details down, said he would send a notice via the mail and wouldnt hold us up any longer (all 9 of us stopped hehehe)
Nice guy and all, we had a good laugh about the only Radar detector in the pack being in the middle and not at the front...sigh.....
And I wonder how he is gonnna ticket me without the bike rego (he didnt write it down)

Now if we can only get them to STOP FUCKING U-TURNING!!!!!!
    Just ride.

He really wanted to let her off, she was rattled and unpleasant, I was smiling and almost winking at the cop, he ticketed her because she was an unrepentant asshole to deal with. Major attitude fail.

I'm a landlord, have been for 25 years. Tenants often hate you, for no good reason except you have some authority over them, and they have to give you money. Some of my tenants needed a good batoning by god. Same with being a boss (except the boss gives you money, for your time).

Sure some are at fault, usually its just a mistake of judgement, but disliking another because of their authority over you is just immature and stupid. Bad dog. Why not be nice to those entrusted with defending us from angry crazies?

Some people need to pull their heads out of their asses.

I am the great Sun, but you do not see me.
I am your Husband, but you turn away.
I am the Captive, but you do not free me.
I am the Captain you will not obey.
I am the Truth, but you will not believe me.
I am the City, where you will not stay.
I am your Wife, your Child, but you will leave me.
I am that God, to whom you will not pray.
I am your Counsel, but you do not hear me.
I am the Lover, whom you will betray.
I am the Victor, but you do not cheer me.
I am the Holy Dove, whom you will slay.
I am your Life, but you will not name me.
Seal up your soul with tears and never blame me.

Fuck matey you need to get into the real world before being so subjective, you really need to pull your head out of your arse and come up for air and a look around.
Must be you that creates the problem with your tenants, they must have a reason for hateing you..

When most put on the 'blue' they develop and attitude problem,(I mean really leaving work as a council gardner or a dunny cleaner then stick this shit in the position of almost ultimate power !!) But this subsides as they get older and have heard all the excuses ever dreamed up

The best cops are those that have been in the force for sometime and matured with the job, and the best recruits are those that got out and travelled and had a life before taking on the job, other than that the rest are power mongers !!

Now you go to God and get him to give you a good batoning on the head to wake your brain up so you can see things in a real light, go forth now go on go!!!!

Last time I was stopped I wasn't sure whether I was going to get a ticket or not, after being sent on my way (so as not to hold me up).

The ticket turns up in the mail sure enough. I think it's actually a tactic to prevent people from getting upset when they realise how much it is going to cost them, and to let them leave feeling like just maybe they have gotten away with it.

As an aside I guess this "service" will now have attracted an additional 2.5% GST?

Had two infringements issued in about the last 24 months, both done in the same way. ie notes taken at time and tickets followed in post.

Guess this is a new strategy used to minimize contact time and maximize patrol time (or revenue collection opportunities).

And not consume your valuable time thereby causing you to be you late for whatever you were rushing to??

It makes me chuckle when people choose a line of employment and then get all upset when it doesn't go their way. I don't recall ever hearing of anyone being FORCED to be a police officer, they choose to do it.

Take whatever comes and shut the fuck up.

I get shit in my job but you don't hear me whinging about it.

I actually have better work stories.

It cracks me up when I see motorway patrol & 10-7 and all.

Police are barely one step below lawyers really. There is always an exception to the rule but over all- they are ego-tripped pieces of shit.
all this.. Ohh... feel sorry for them because they are doing a job no one else wants to do! What a crock! If you dont wanna do it then go do something else.
And then to complain that people dont respect the police? Ha! people used to! There are 400 reasons why they dont now and most of those stem from officiers actions.

Nearly all men can stand adversity and hard time, but if you want to test a mans true character, give him power....

I think more of it comes from the Joe publics own actions and rather than accept personal responsibility that their own choices have have landed them in the shit go on about what a pack of cunts the filthy dirty coppers are

Whether they are "pieces of shit" or not is open to debate. Sure, many are ego-trippers and control freaks but it's them who probably do the most whinging. I would suggest that the bobby who doesn't moan and groan is the bobby who would do things by the book and be cheerful doing it.

    A rare breed, I know.

A bit like all the whingers on here crying about getting a ticket for doing something wrong.
As you said no one forced them to do wrong, they chose to do it so "Take whatever comes and shut the fuck up"
