    Pope gets motorcycle escort

The Vatican has taken possession of a gift of two Ducati Multistradas, which will be used to form part of The Pope’s official escort by the Corps of Gendarmerie of Vatican City.

The Multistradas have been finished in the livery of the Vatican State. This is the first time in history the Vatican police has adopted the use of motorcycles.

Now if I was the Pope I'd ride one of them and make the gendarme ride in the Popemobile...

Of course they adapt and change! When they weren't allowed near women they started bumming altar boys. If that's not adaptation, I dunno what is!

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

I'll never understand the call of ministry. Or religion itself, except for it's interesting manner to seperate different people even better than ethnicity use to/still does.

Well my friend I don't think ths is the right site for a theological debate, all I can say is when you study and I mean really study scripture, ancient history, geography etc. all together you can see how real Jesus really is. I would also say ministry is not a vocation for the faint hearted!!!!

So you're learning about all the gospels of Jesus and how the church decided which gospels to use in the bible back in the day.

And how the churches all adopted pagan/other religious traditions to ease in the conversions to Christianity.

It just all seems so devious! But I bet it would be interesting... if a little biased depending where you're learning it

I wouldn't disagree that Jesus lived, don't think anyone would. He's written about in the Quran and loads of other places isn't he? Just the placement of certain titles aren't quite the same.

I do like it how the bible says if my wife makes a vow I'm allowed to revoke it because I am her husband. It sure understands who should be in control of a heterosexual relationship...
