Power Rev Kitaco Digital CDI unit

Bought one on Trade Me and it dont work on my scooter
So I put back the original 6 wire CDI to return it to a going state
Does anybody know any reason why this CDI wont work?

This will read obvious and its not meant to be insulting, but did the model list have your scoot listed, if its not exact they wont work.
Some scoot brands have immobilizers, remote start, alarms, rev limiters and other options across the same model family built into the cdi.
Whats annoying is some will turn over but not fire others wont even turn over but all the gauges will do the pre start sweep.
If yours has jumper switches to change the ignition curve try moving them around but it should still run even if its a bit rough at high revs.

There was no list of what scoots it would suit.
On search the web it has become obvious that it is part of a package that works together.
