    Aprilia Falco SL1000

    Hi everyone,

Decided to sell my bike, little bit apprensive about this as its a really nice bike, but looking at getting a bike more suitable for 2 up touring. The bike is beautiful to ride, excellent power and noise from the carbon cans and great to look at too.

Just before I brought it earlier this year the previous owner spent about $1600 on a full service, plugs, oil and filter, steering head bearings, X-ring chain and sprokets, and clutch (slipper clutch so need to be replaced every 25K apparently). Also the previous owner changed the gear ratio down as they come far over-geared from the factory, so it pulls like a school boy now.

The bike uses the same rotax engine as the RSV just detuned slightly for more mid-range grunt, but still puts out 120hp which is more than SV's and VTR's.

I've recently replaced the rear tyre and the front is brand new (BT016). The bike went straight through a WOF a month or so ago.

Only thing wrong is some very very small scratches on the left side from the previous owner (barely visable), and the bike is hard to select netural at times at a standstill, which is a common problem on these bikes.

The bike comes with a pack rack, original exhausts and a rear set cover. Rego is valid until Jan. More pictures will come soon.

    Celllphone is 0273-360-070.

    Stefan

Saw this bike the other day at NPMC when it was in getting a new front tyre.
    Nice machine!
    Good luck with the sale

Gave the bike a clean up and took a few more photos. The screen looked badly cracked in the first few photos, which was mainly a bad angle with the sun.
