Amazing Marc Marquez and the Estoril drama

"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

Scored his first race win ever, I believe, at round 4. Won rounds 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, also 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 (Estoril). Amazing! They must have put something in his paella.

Mind you, I think someone has spent some serious money on his bike.

Bautista dominated the 125's in an equally impressive manor and look where he is now. Certainly motogp champion material but you never know for sure. The crazy thing is that he is only 16 so still can't really get onto a moto 2 bike (way too small) in 2 years and then probably another 2 till motogp!

Apparently there is a younger brother who is even better? (Like the Espagaro's)

Just watching that was really tense . It must have been real turmoil for the crew, but as for the rider himself... The lad looks the goods but as has been said before, "You have to have the whole package."

Bautista presumably still has what it takes to be "special" but he needs a better deal. Maybe in 2012?

I don't think he has the potential to be lorenzo/rossi special. Look at how he went in 250's. He had the best bike out there and still couldn't even consistently get it on the podium. Next year will be rediculous, wouldn't be surprised if Marquez wins every race of the year!

I read somewhere that Marquez was wanted to progress up the classes asap and would consider jumping to moto 2 especially if he takes the 125 championship. Could be a load of shit though, cant alway believe whats on the net.....
