Thanks for the detailed results. It was a great race. Pity my team had a front tyre puncture - Detlev was lucky and showed skill in not crashing - we were both going well. Thanks to John and the organising team - much appreciated. I also watched Warrick brave the unending stream of bikes to put cement dust on the oil at the pits corner onto the straight after Carl's crash - a job very well done - all while still making sure bikes were OK to go back on the track. Well done to every finishing team. I'm not sure I could have lasted the whole 2 hours!

What a great day! A big thanks to John and everyone else involved in making it happen (including the weather gods for playing their part)
Also a big thanks to my partner Arron, for a suspossed B grade rider to step up and lap as strong as he did really shows his potential with the new bike (no excuses Arron we know the bike is ready).
Hope all those that suffered injuries (and mechanical failures) recover quickly and that we see you all again next year

Smile Not The Best 2Hr Effort

We certainly had a bad start with Cully hitting the deck after Pumba came up the inside of him and taking them both out after only 8 laps. He looked in not the best shape and was all he could do to keep circulating. I take my hat off to him for putting up with the pain when i seen the X-rays today. Nice broken collar bone.
I was surprised that we were still on track for at least 200 Laps when an electrical issue put pay to our race. Bugger.
Got the bike back on the dyno today and managed to locate the problem. Bloody battery of all things to give us problems. Run the bike up again and still pulling 23hp. All good for Hampton Downs in a few weeks. Big that to John and Wendy and all involved with the 2hr. Hope everyone recovers from there injuries and is ready to go for the next event.

Never mind Pumba. We know you never intended it to happen. Must have seen the red haze. Bring a box of beers and your bike around to our workshop. I am sure we will forget all about it.

Broken coller bone, knocked off by some DickHead........ who didn't have the guts to man up with an appology afterwards......

60+ paid riders last Sunday, lots of cowboys, two ambo rides and some broken coller bones.........

Our 2-Strokers DNF'd because dickheads knocked the riders off, the bikes survived but the riders didn't........

Three that I know of. Sam, Chambers and Brent from Hastings. The youngest Robson has curently unknown damage to his foot as well, in hospital waiting for the swelling to do down for a diagnosis last I heard.
Not a good tally for the day.

And Chris V, with a broken coller bone is another.......

There was a time when the Team would come home with a few brusies and a scrape or two but now it's broken bones..........

I talked with JC about it and he is concerned too, and asked for constructive input........

Actually, looking at the B grade enduro results, out of the 4 DNF's - three of those were due to injury. Not sure about why the 4th rider DNF'ed.
All I know is I saw the riders down, and was glad when they moved. I know I didn't take anyone out, and that was one reason I couldn't get past Alistair, I didn't want both of us to go down in a screaming heap, I'd rather have come last than try a risky passing manoeuvre. Everyone who went past me (multiple times), it was a clean pass, so not sure if there was one or more riders who caused grief on the day.
Hopefully the injured will heal quickly and not be put off (I do know that feeling).

It was hard work in the 2 hr I was wishing my last 10 mins of my 30 min sessions away ,Chambers watched me as I got off the bike on my last go and my legs didn't work..Had to have a sit down .Sorry to hear about your break (Brave ride)..I am feeling a bit guilty for some of my passes early on after my bad start just like Pumber But I was lucky that I didn't hit anybody ..I was trying 10 -10ths for the race ..Detlev said I could have been more gentle with my passes ...Sorry for that ..Most people gave plenty of room but a few tried to pass back or block the line that was hard when you have Garry on your tail ...Speedy recovery to all broken riders.
