Persionally, if some truck ran into me while i was walking down the street, i would be tempted to report it sooner than 3 weeks later

    Best of luck

Don't even think that way in the interview. You are a responsibile driver and aware of your suroundings. My advice is to seek legal advice prior to the interview. From your point of view it's possible that the pedestrian walked into the truck as against you hiting him/her with the truck. That puts the blame on them. You need to find out the point of contact.

I had the Pleece question me recently [cause I own a white Prelude] over a recent murder here in CHCH, I felt accused,as though I had to prove that I didnt do it. All because I hade a car the same colour as the suspect!!!!! W T F????
I know how you feel. Went in to the police station 'to eliminate my self from their enquires' over that woman who was killed on New years day a few years back in the Rakia Gorge. Was in the area salmon fishing at the time. Bloody unpleasent feeling being a murder suspect even for a short time. Just one of lifes experiances that we could all do without.

You can't stop for an 'accident' if you don't even know there was one in the first place. I would imagine the onus of proof is on the witness/police to prove that you knew that an 'accident' that you were involved in, had taken place, or else how could you have stopped for it? Admit nothing, if there is nothing to admit.

Yea dude if ya diddn't do it ya diddn't do it -plain and simple.
if the tail end of the truck swiped em surely its because they walked into it not visa versa.
To cap that off I'd suggest that if the pedestrian was really hurt then you'da heard a long time before now,
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

    Cool

19th May the alledged accident happened...
Your Boss spoke to you on 10th June...

So how come the police, took so long to contact your boss re this alledged accident ? And at what point did the alledged victim go to report this alledged accident?

When someone is alledgelly hit by a vehicle, the police are onto it straight away.

Unless, there is video footage, still at the gas station and the police have witnesses to prove it was your truck. Then say nothing.

Make sure you have your log book fully up todate and everything in it absolutely correct. As they may check the log book out too.
Also have your license on you as well.

    All the best.

The size of your truck, you may have nudged someone walking back to their vehicle.... but at the same time why didn't they open up their eyes and check to make sure that no vehicle was moving etc.. Most people would yell out if that happened...

(Sorry my spelling ain't that good today)

They rang 111, the taxi got sent to the wrong address... now that they laid a complaint to the police minister something might get done about it...

Bad luck mate, my mates sister just had a run in with a cyclist while turning up into their street... Got insane sunstrike and didnt see the guy until his face was pressed up against the windscreen...

As said, hopefully nothing comes of it and u just get a smack on the hand and sent to your room

    good luck
