Mate your welcome to try but I ain't picking up the pieces! I wouldn't be trying it.

If your that keen try and do 1600km (1000miles) in 24hours. Make sure you keep your fuel receipts and get an iron butt assn certificate.

Do the Northern route Joshkies then.... instead of heading north from Palmer rd head to Fairlie and do the Southern route on the Sunday.

Just wonderin', do we have a support/baggage vehicle for the 2 dayers? Anyone know anyone? Mrs B and I could probably carry everything we need if required, but I suspect some might have trouble..... I know someone who could do it, but they'd probably want money for fuel and accomodation - I'd pay but I was roundly jeered last year when I suggested a similar arrangement.

Isn't part of the fun riding with everything? A true ADV ride...otherwise it tends to be a trail ride rather than a adventure ride discovering places with all of your swag etc...

    Blah

Good to see 8 one day riders registered, any other real men out there??
Ryan may need to rename the event the DB500k x2 with the majority of the riders now doing the two dayer
Hope you boys don't get your petticoats to greasy and dusty!

The 2 norf Dusty 2-dayers have had a support/chase vehicle with a bike mechanic/tyre changer driving.

    Make it soo much nicer.
Especially if you're not the one being chased...

There may be a vehicle travelling down to Alex and back but I can't confirm yet or if there will be space for others gear.

Did a bit more the DB route today. Will be a bit of work to keep the pace up but not to technical if you want to cruse along. Fair few kms of ruts but they were dry so should;t be to hard to ride.

    Cheers R

Like I said, we can probably carry everything we need, but not everyone is driving a small v-twin tank. As Nordie says, in past years a vehicle has been available. If no one wants it, that pretty much answers the question.

Everything I need in Alexandra. The last time I did the 2 dayer I was pretty glad not to have to carry a blasted tent around with me (clearly not an issue this time), and the guy who dropped his sump plug was happy to have the assistance of the wider Nordie family.

Let's see you do it on a 125 eh? Then we'll talk about real men.
