    Show and shine - Feb 19th 2011

    Hey girls,

we are going all out for the next four and rotary show to be held inside Chch Westpac trust stadium (or whatever it's called now)
I'm on the hunt for any females willing to join in on a fun weekend and put their bikes on Girlspeed's club display.
They don't have to be anything flash, we had a wee bucket one year hehe and this time have a couple of dirtys lined up. They just need to be tidy and groomed up on the day.

The show itself is car orientated so our main achievement is to get together with like minded females, have some great fun and bring awareness to how many female's out there actually own and ride motorcycles There have in the past however been a couple of bike awards up for grabs.

We are booked in for dessert Thurs 11th Nov @ The Running Bull, 1 Riccarton Rd. Everyone's welcome feel free to bring a friend. I will go over everything and answer any questions. Please let me know numbers for this though

    Hey gals, that's awesome!

It's a massive event and costs the club a fair amount (hence the fundraising-movie night). It's normally $60 per entry but the club will help out and hopefully bring it down to $30. Because of this we need definate confirmation by the end of Dec, have a think and let me know - Feel free to ask as many questions as possible

We set up on the Fri 18th Feb, entry from the back of the stadium and I'll meet yas all with 'competitor passes' they're like VIP - no parking fees, free entry to come and go.
BUT... for those that work on Fri there's no rush we have helpers to set up the display and can allocate your spot so you can just push your bike onto the stand at last sec. Set up normally closes around 7pm. All vehicles get locked inside the stadium over night Friday with hardcore security!

Depending on how everyone's feeling we normally head out after setting up for dinner and drinks with partners/kids etc to chill and chat

Saturday: gates open half hour earlier for competitors to get in and do a last second groom... all the dust inside the stadium settles on everything over night. There's normally people already lining up out the door and down the parking isle so you get to walk right in with your VIP pass :P Prize giving is around 5pm then we can all pack up and head home

It has also been confirmed that there WILL be a motorbike award up for grabs woop woop! There's other awards such as 'Best club display', 'Best club attitude', 'You go girl' and 'Best club theme'.
