I have been wanting to add to this collection of surf oddities for a while now, and this video deserves a place. Cloudbreak in Fiji is a wonder of the surfing world.

Since the last post in this thread, *paddle in big wave surfing* has taken off, mainly due to the surf ski to facilitate rescue, and advances in big wave board design. A few years ago, no one was paddling into monster waves, just tow in with a ski. The big wave charging crew, travel the world and meet up in the water when waves like this happen around the globe.

Tonight on Maori TV is a doco called Boardheads... could be a good watch
