Council sets up motorcycle "anti-poop" squad

Dog-owners who fail to clean up after their pets are being targeted by motorbike patrols equipped with video surveillance equipment in Lincolnshire.

South Kesteven District Council has equipped three new ‘Enforcement Rangers’ with 650cc Honda Transalp motorcycles. The council said it believed it was one of the only local authorities in the country to use video-equipped bikes.

Garry Knighton, head of waste and contract services, said: "We hope these high-visibility enforcers will also help advise and educate people who ignore the problems caused by littering and dog fouling. Other authorities are coming to us to look at what we're doing."

We need more of that. Some F^&*%'ing pooch sneek in to my garden and craps on my lawn. I'm getting an air rifle and will set up a "nest" on my roof so i can punish the owner Or maybe I'll put the "deposit" in a papper bag put it on the owners door step, set it on fire and ring the bell...

    I'm F(&*^'ing tired of it ....

Any laws agains it in NZ... Can i take pictures and get anything out of that ?

Yes you can but you'll have a better chance if you can get the dogs ID number (if registered!) $500 fine for owner. Or report dog to dog control as it should not be loose anyway.

By the way don't blame the dog, it is the owners fault. 80% of people who have dogs shouldn't

Catch the dog - tie it to a tree. Don't be mean about it - but secure the animal. Buy a small dog roll and feed it little by little... day after day till you get it's confidence, then happen to tie it up one day.

Get the number of the tag and ring it through to animal control telling them you'd like stern measures take against the owner.

    Could be kinda fun...
