A pre-warning of the Govt $$$ maker to come

This thing will catch "speed", seatbelt, insurance (N/A in this country... yet) & tail gating all while totally unmanned & self sufficient.

I wonder if it'll consider a bike using the "bike-lane" tail gating? or someone overtaking, hopefully it has some depth perception to stop that kinda false positive.

It's not about money - it's about safety.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get my pigs ready for flight.

Auto cameras (Britain has auto-scanning cameras in Police cars for insurance - scans number plates all around and gives Mr Plod an alert if it catches one) are a matter of time.

NZ police already have 1 or 2 Hyundai vans that can do this, its just not yet deployed to every patrol car.

If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!
