    AMCC 2-hour programme?

    Does anyone know the program?
Is the 2hr qualifying on the Saturday or Sunday?
Is the Saturday purely a practice day? (NI series aside)
What time is the actual race set to run?

Its been twenty something years since I last raced the 2hr, I figure the format has probably changed since then so hoping someone might be able to clarify how the weekend works.

From previous years......It's all on Sunday

There is a bit of an informal sorting out by negotiation in the pits, of who is in the 2 hour and those that are too new or slow or don't want to, and they get to race for the Mt Wellington cup, a 1/2 hour race I think.

The super pole is for those that want to compete for the better 2 hour grid positions then its into the 2 hour, starting early afternoon.

A 2 hour team must have at least 4 people, 2 riders, 1 lap score person and a flaggie for flag marshilling.

    Thats how I remember it.....

Not spoken to JC yet, thought I'd leave it to the very last minute as usual.
NI series and 2 hr practice on the Saturday. 2hr practice and superpole on Sunday plus anything that seems to want to race on the day (there was a scooter race one time, some motards, some kids riding.. better ask the man in charge but I think thats about the size of it.

For those coming, your lap scorer will need a digital watch of some sort in order to do their job.

Sorry guys, lapscorers have to be there at 9am Sunday. Bar will be closed.

Seriously though, Henk posted sup regs for the weekend (somewhere below) where it also has the timetable. Lapscorers' meeting 1.45pm.
It will pay for them to be able to recognise your bike (and maybe even the helmet/leathers) to make it easier for them to spot ya.

Anyone got an idea of how much fuel is used in the two hours?

I thought the FXR would do it easy on a tank of Gas
    Is that about right ?

If you fill up the tank on a standard FXR you could turn the two hour race into at least the four hour and still have gas left over

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

250 ml of gas will do you fine for the two hours, wouldn't want to carry any extra weight.

    Grant... 250mls... sounds about right.

Why lug all that extra fuel around...

So... I am going to tell my lap timing team to turn up about 1pm...

Tell me that should be ok?
