Just watching campbell live about ambulance drivers, what they showed on show wasn't too bad but the point was there & reiterated, that these life savers are coming up against ever increasing abuse & hatred, one of the guys making the comment the hatred for the cops is getting re-directed at them.
Feel free to hurl as much abuse as you want to the P.I.G.'s but don't go abusing people trying to help you, your mates, or the general public these guys do a good job, are much needed & should be much respected!. if you want to hurl anything at these guys make it donations or praise NOT abuse. I just hope for anyone hurling the abuse at these guys there is such thing as karma!.

Riff raff has been assaulted more times than I care to remember working as a paramedic in South Auckland. Once, the injuries bad enough, that she required almost a
full 12 months off work and surgery to her wrist a couple of times. When it went to court, the fucking woman soliciter acting for the defendant had the GALL to call Riff raff a lier when she was giving evidence against this creep. Sugesting perhaps she was making out the ASSAULT was worse than it actually was. When the judge laughed out loud and convicted this creitin, it transpired it (beneath human genders) had multiple violent convictions against all sorts of people. It's solicter was privy to these convictions prior to sentencing yet she still tried to make out Riff raff was at fault. In fact, the reason it was being taken to hospital was because it'd given itself a nasty gash having tried to kick in the door of a vacant house because it thought its ex girlfriend was inside having seen the same coloured car as hers parked outside.

I'm so fucking gratefull that every night, I don't have to worry that my beloved is out in South Auckland dealing with scum pond and risking her life to help others who really should be left to bleed to fucking death.

We constantly worry about our friends still in the service with more courage than us to try and make a difference. They deserve fucking medals, all of them.

Here in N.Z there are a couple of roads we head down very hesitantly without police with us. Had a bottle thrown at the truck down some fuckheads driveway the other day, and get the same kinda aggro. We are just lucky we have more numbers and readily available weapons on-board!...

Had a close female family member working the coromandel - thames route for a few years.

Volunteer work and treated like crap from smashed up drunkards, although she weathered alot of verbal abuse - she was never physically assaulted, I knew she was fearful a quite few times, amazingly - it didn't deter her helping people in need voluntarily, she only quit due to a change in circumstances.
Absolute respect to all who head out into frontline emergencies. you just never know when you'll need them!

We've got a million other stories similar to that one, from ONE fucking St Johns member! The tough cunts like Robbie and Blue Thunder (KBer) * sorry for the pople whos names I cant remember* that have made a career devoting their lives and safety to helping people in the area have my undying respect. I used to be a cop and worked rural. Sometimes the only and best backup was the local volunteer firefighters.

Dont forget there are many good cops out there taking a lot of crap trying to keep the peace and on average annually each taking a beating and for some even a bullet for it. Would you? I doubt it, especially without that keyboard weapon you wield so bravely.

Cops (and I have the best level of respect for them) sign up to keep the peace and know fully what they're getting into. Riff raff and I were just revsiting one of her assaults, the one outlined above. I questioned how bad it COULD have been had a police officer not been in attendance when she was injured.
