    BMW Airhead fork lowersy?

Does anyone know if the fork lowers from the monolever airheads will fit the older /7 series forks?

They are a different brand,so no.The mono forks have less travel too.A discussion on which is best could be dangerous...but Brembo's are the better brake.

Thanks for the reply, do you know if the stanchions from the monolever would fit into the /7 series triple trees? are the stanchions the same diameter?

What is it you're trying to do?

Do you want just want better brakes?

Strip the whole front end down, replace or lube the steering bearings, fit new fork seals, maybe progressive springs, and new fork oil.

Brembos are better...but probably easier to buy a later bike.

    see brake thread.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

Thanks Voltaire, so are you saying that the lowers that match the brembo brakes will fit onto the earlier stanchions?

I don't really want to buy a later model bike ;-) but i want functionality...
