To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

Fuck me, scooter racing that has more support and money then our national superbike series.
Not that I dont disagree with you about the disparity but I can see how this has occurred and some of the factors that motorcycle racing in particular in NZ will most likely never overcome. Thankfully here its not always about sponsorship and earnings that keeps folks racing.
One has to admit that is dam cool to watch, nice find Frosty.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
You couldn't be more wrong. Having just been to Malaysia a month ago I can tell you these guys are highly regarded in their country. The bikes are well maintained, this is a single make class, but their is a fully fledged all out class too - think buckets but with a big budget. The racing is nuts, and it all leads them on to the SuperStock 600cc Inter-Asia series.
In all respects these guys have a better chance of getting to the MotoGP scene than you. There are currently two, maybe three guys that started on these in the series at different stages already (Moto2 and 125GP)

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
Brilliant way to start to them young
