Maybe they should be showing these to the anyone sitting thier licence. I am a firm beiliever of shock value.
I saw a horrific accident way back when i was in my teens where three guys were killed in a small ute after running under a parked truck. Best education i ever got, it has stopped me driving while under the influence on many occasions.
My biggest issure is the innocent that suffer as a result of bad decisions

I agree with playing it when you sit your licence or if you have been caught drink driving. BUT not just the one add. Play as many as you can get. When I sat my full motorbike licence I did it through a safety course in Hamilton and we got shown some pictures of what happens when you don’t wear all the gear all the time. I could handle a few, I was good for most but after the 30th or 40th picture I was starting to get the message . It wasn’t that I was trying to be tough it was just I have seen a few gory photos and didn’t think too much of them but that many you can’t ignore. A good reminder later on was a girl who fell off the back of a bike and lost half her skin. Not a sight I can forget quickly anymore.
