Wanted: Suzuki FXR 150 rear sprocket

Hi, wondering if anyone has a suitable sprocket for my 2000 FXR 150, or can point me in the right direction - I'm in the UK and catalogues don't have them with the right hole spacing (~100.5 mm from memory of what bike shop measured?).

The bike was never officially sold in the UK as far as I can tell - it's probably been imported from NZ or Malaysia.

Standard is 48T according to 'et al' in this old thread http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...change-FXR-150 - my current is 49T as far as I know, and I could go lower if that's what you've got!

Last time I bought a rear sprocket for FXR (47 teeth) it cost me $36NZD, thats about £17.5 quids in UK?

It's not Suzuki Genuine part tho. Also there maybe other websites that may offer FXR sprockets but this is all I know. Hope it helps.

Just ben out and had a look at mine. The JT after market part number is

JTR1806-47

with the 47 being the number of teeth. It probably fits other bikes as well so if you take that number to your local bike shop they should be able to help you. Have a look at

I think they are called a FU150 in Japan.

Those numbers Henk has given you should help and be able to cross refence something.

12 to 17 ( the front is the same as lots of the smaller suzukis) are available for the front and 47, 48, 49 for the rear

The other option if you find them hard to obtain is to buy a blank sprocket and get it machined, that will probably be a much more expensive exercise though

It's looking promising - I couldn't find the part on Cycletreads and they only listed Renthal sprockets and by chain size and teeth only (not by bike or hole spacing), but I did find a part number I may be able to use to get an oil filter (other parts are listed by bike) -thanks EJK.

The JT sprockets link looks good though - diagrams and everything will be handy. Though the FXR doesn't exist there, the part number is listed for the RG125, which is the bike the FXR replaced I believe and is similar, so thanks to Henk for the part number.

RDjase the RG125s listed on JT sprockets have FU in their listing, so that may be where that came from? The only size on the part above is the 47, and I'm doing mainly higher speed roads, so that will be fine - I have 49T at the moment, and it wouldn't hurt to have a little less acceleration and a little more top speed!

Machining I looked into, but had problems getting someone locally who can do the work needed to convert a similar sprocket - the guy at the bike shop tried to get it done for me - thanks anyway to Kickaha - before I saw your signature I didn't know bikers were into telehandling too!

Nice shiny chain and sprockets fitted - only official UK bike that takes the front sprocket is a Hyosung 125! (141414). Cheers for all the help. Now I just have to get a stubborn sump drain bolt out I've got some penetrating oil on it, so will give it a go soon!
