The next model, the RC149 in 1966 was made entirely out of magnesium.
Had a 5 cylinder 125cc with a crankshaft that was a 3 cylinder with conrods 120 degrees apart and then a 2 cylinder that was 180 degrees apart with the camshaft drive between them. The pistons were 35mm diameter.
It revved to 23,000 rpm and stalled below 17,000 rpm !!!
