Make sure you bring your brother, more photo's of the days racing would be really good. You must be really keen to even consider coming all the way down here, Good Man. I'm sure you would enjoy it.

Strange that you shold mention that. To non bucket bike guys I describe the sport as closer to MX on tarmac than anything else.

    Great pics AGAIN

but every year the same thing
Dont follow the BLODY bike out onto the track when you are pushing

I've run 2 people over already and am willing to do it again !!!!!!! (not deliberatly)

waving your hands wont help you either (I'm not going to shoot just run you over at 30+ km/h)
Thats what I thought when I saw that pic. Dosen't look that safe.
Le Mans starts are great when you have electric start or kickstart, but for safteys sake, a limit on how far the pusher can go onto the track if the pig won't start needs to be looked at.

Now I know why they used to call it "scrambling" in England! .

They did not choose slick tyres though.

Tim winning the Nth. Island Bucket Championship 2010.

Tim watching David D and Gary C fight to the finish line on the last (20th) lap of the Nth. Island 2nd leg race to complete the 4-round series for 2010 (I missed a gear and got in their way as they came up to lap me!). Tim was about to be the series winner and was obviously enjoying watching the action from a comfortable 4th? place in the last race on the last lap.

I hear we might even have a 5-round series in 2011. I must say that the highlight for me was visiting all the other tracks: Kaitoke, Tamauranui and Roy's Hill. Roll on 2011.

Looks pretty scary alright, maybe those getting pushed should start off the back.

I guess we'll never know who that cowboy was but Im sure he realises his mistake.
Great result Grant, 15th wasn't quite what we were expecting (especially considering that start ). Leason learnt, we wont take a tea break next year.

You guys both did well. You finished, which is a significant achievement. Kel & Aaron, without the crash, would have been right up there. Top 5.

Great track by Steppenwolf. Born to be Wild also - I used to play that in a rock band while at school!
