Triumph Sprint ST, suspension upgrade.

This is my honest attempt to explain the upgrade I had done recently on my sprint. I have explained it as best as I am capable, but I hope it is of some help to those thinking of going down the same path.

That's why I found the right bike for me (at this point in my life anyway) so i'll stick with it, then spending the money on the suspension isn't quite the big deal it would be if you were only hanging onto your bike for say 18 months at a time...
At least the rear shock is modular so there a chance it can be used on my next bike when I do decide it's time to move on.

I'm not surprised what you have done to your ST.

I sat on one recently in a dealer's shop and was shocked how soft the suspension was on those things..! I'm only 73 kgs and the ST sank and squashed down under my measly weight like a marshmallow..!

My first thought was that if I purchase one of these that I would need to have a lot of suspension work done immediately.

Thank you very much. It has indeed transformed the bike. I enjoyed riding the bike before, but it is now a pure pleasure. Any other bikes in the future will certainly get the same treatment if needed. It was well worth the money time and effort. If you thought it was soft when you sat on it, wait to you add a pillion just unbeliveable.
