watched the race from the racing underground torrent and not sure if the youtube clip had the crash with the guy stuck under his bike for AGES!!? Nasty!
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

Guy under bike was Chris Peris, the rider I had out here a few years ago. Shame he crashed a lot here also, glad to see he is OK though, he sure is a tryer
