    Cliffhanger Sprints this Sunday 21-11-10 NZ Championship

    Nz Championship sprints on this sunday, just out of Carterton.
    spectating is in the middle of the sprint so one can get to see bikes at full tit and standing starts too. No charge for spectators.
    There will be an update early on sunday with conditions over there on this thread on KB

    1. New Zealand 1/4 Mile Sprint Championship

    So...any idea how fast your bike will go in a straight line?

    Heres the chance to find out!

    The 21 November 2010 will see the inaugural Cliffhanger NZ 1/4 Mile Championships at Dalefield Road, Carterton, in the sunny Wairarapa.

    There are multiple classes available to enter, catering for all types of machinery.
    From pocket rockets of 125cc right up to full blown specialist high speed machines of up to 2300cc.
    If buckets, sidecars, etc will show up we even will create an own class for it and give it a go if it is not already catered for it.

    Bring the family and come along to see the spectacle that is the Cliffhanger motorcycle sprints. Where else can you see bikes hurtle past a few metres away at over 300kph ?

    Cups and prizes will be awarded to to all class winners.

    Get your entry in now, while places are still available.
    Entry fee for Standing or Flying
    $ 30.00
    Entry fee for Standing and Flying
    $ 40.00
    Insurance Levy for all riders
    $ 20.00
    Riders briefing is at 8:45, timed runs begin at 10:00 sharp
    Sausage Sizzle, refreshments available. Clean toilet facilities on-site. Spectators are encouraged to come along.

    We are in Featherston,these flash new Ipad things are great,will carry on to the sprints to let people know

    When we got to Dalefield road, it was dry, but the wind was really strong
    As far as reading rain maps & weather forecasts, how many times is it shit in Wellington & great over the hill & today was no exception

    It turned out magic today after 12PM no wind hot as hell. Did you get the bike out anyway?. Was they anyone there when you got there?

    Na, there was nobody there at all, so we had a bite to eat in Greytown,went home
