Free U2 concert from the comfort of my own home.

Holy smokes, if the sound checks and rehearsals over the last couple nights is anything to go by, it's going to be one loud m***** f****** concert.
Even better, I can just enjoy the sounds of U2 free of charge from my deck.

Yep, I work at the top end of Neilson St about 300m from the stadium and it has been f**king loud. Much louder than the Big Day Out, but thankfully U2 are better then 95% that play BDO! Looking forward to getting my ears hammered on Friday night at the actual gig...should be awesome.

The tickets cost you the same amount that I would pay to see U2.

    Well I hope his bloody ego doesnt take over again like his last friday concert here;
The band stopped playing and he preached pro American bullshit to us for nearly 30 mins, the mass exodus (us included) was amazing, thousands left.
I think the management told him to wind his neck in for the Saturday concert because it didnt happen that night.

    I'll be there tonight.
Should be a good show if the sound is ramped up!!

Who is the knobend doing the warm up?
A mate said kane west did the last concert here and was booed off the stage. The only cheer was when he walked off.

U2 choose support acts from the other genre-extreme so they don't get shown up (because it wouldn't take much). Most U2 fans don't like rap, so no surprise Kanye West went down like a two dollar tranny.

I think this years support act is Jay Z

LOL, funny whether true or not.

No, I wouldn't pay to see them, but I don't think they're horrible. I'm getting my experience at the right price.

It would be cool if you could hear One Tree Hill from One Tree Hill.

    Fooken awesome show!
Jay Z put on a great show (with 2x drummers + horn section) and the Irish lads were superb!!! Consumate performers.
Beats me how 4 chaps can churn out such a great sound.

Great mexican waves and to Larry the Laser-pointer owner.

Nice to see they have kept up with our local news and the miners were remembered by all.
