I have a set of dri-rider textile gear, the pants have a zip along the back but the jacket doesn't so I was wondering who uses the zip feature and it is worth getting one put in my jacket to join the two?

Personal choice I guess.
I zip my pants and jacket together (my cordura and my leathers both have this feature).
Two reasons, it is warmer, and if I go for a slide they are not going to part company leaving me with gravel rash across my back.
Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans
If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...
always, but agree it's personal. I'd say the majority of people would if they had the zip. I always buy with a zip but if it didn't have one, and the jacket was a snug fit, I suppose I wouldn't worry about it too much. It'd be a different story if the jacket was on the lose side.
Had never done so, then the other weekend had someone zip it for me....hmm, warmer, will save the back skin should the off occur but I did feel like I was being compacted and choked....will take some getting used to but I personally think it's brilliant. Safety first and foremost!
Its not for the warmth as I don't get cold riding more so to stop the jacket riding up if I had a spill.
Can anyone recommend someone in Wellington to put a zip on the jacket for me?
I never do my zip up.
Didn't make a difference when I had an off in 08 either. Good quality gear made a huge difference. Shoei helmet saved my life.
Do it up, if youre sliding feet first you will wish you had as you feel the heat building up , this happens just as it starts to take you skin off and griding your spinal cord to coarse bone chip.![]()
Ive run out of fucks to give
I zip.
Miss it when I am wearing my textiles that don't zip together.
Zip when its hot
Zip when its cold
Feels weird if I haven't zipped. So much so, I usually pull over, zip up and carry on.
Always zipped, and any new gear I buy must have the joining zip.
Easy way to increase protection to my way of thinking

Well done Quasi you're one fast chick.
Like cleavage - if you've got it, use it.
