Glad you're okay! Nobody can be perfect all the time, it's just the way it is, so from time to time, no matter how careful we usually are, we're going to make mistakes. Yours was in not checking your mirrors and indicating at least 3 sec. before pulling out. The car driver was driving carelessly and should not have been going so fast.
It's a dangerous place out there and we are more vulnerable with less stability and protection so need to be especially aware of exercising caution. The good thing is you survived to ride another day! Enjoy!
