Eleanor Roosevelt rose
Had to laugh this morning. I was waiting to get my neck stretched (physio, not gallows) and picked up a NZ Gardener with an article about roses in it...
They quoted Eleanor Roosevelt talking about the rose named after her...as follows:
"When they named a rose after me, I was really flattered...until I read the description of it in the book...It said 'No good in a bed and great up against a wall...'"
