    It's a bit....wet.

Tough, it's STILL a bit raw for me.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Shit, what a graphic read. For those of us who have walked away from crash(es) it's a reality check reminder of what could have happened instead, and to ditch any invincibility issues we might be hanging onto.

Thanks for writing that in such a readable yet realistic way.

Cheers Jim, that was very well written. Makes me remember why I don't like going for long distance rides on my own, you never know what may happen....

Superbly written Jim, all in all sounds like you're lucky to still be in the land of the living.
Interesting about your helmet splitting, must of been one hell of a smack to the head! Glad you're still around to write about it there fulla.

Well written JD, they say that a year later, pain is just weakness leaving the body.
If ya believe in that enough, it does !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

and that it appears that a sheep was involved
    The mind boggles.

Unless you were pillioning the sheep - which is more innocent I suppose (but no less baffling)

You could say that any crash you can write about afterwards is within the 'acceptable' bracket.

Any crash however - is one too many. Dont have any more crashes Jim...

I have told you many a time Jim that I enjoy immensely your writing. If you wrote the Telephone directory, I would read it cover to cover.

That road, your 'special' road is right outside my back door. I long ago gave away riding it on my own. The ditches are deep and many. The cars to few.

Awesome write up. Thankyou for coming back.

    Bike or no bike.
