Thread: Needing conrod bolts and nuts for a ZXR400 ASAP

    Yep, im hoping to race at vic club again next year...all things going well

    looking for a bigger radiator at the moment for a start. Bike only has a standard motor in it at the moment with standard carbs since the other one went bang, not very competitive but will get me back out there again.

    If yours is an H then you just fit the rad from an L which is a decent improvement in size.
    The other thing to do is use water wetter in the rad. Its legal for racing but helps the temp heaps.
    Incidently if you have a chernobled H motor and you are running a cooking L or J engine they are down a bit on HP.If you fit the H cams you'll get some "free" hp.
    After a couple of seasons on Mella Yella I found a couple of extra free ponies.
    To see a life newly created.To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

    have still got a complete zxr400 motor bottom end(no barrel,no pistons) that looks in reso cond... and a s/h h model radiator also..

    l mite sell all by crap have most of a zxr 400 -rims 72hp motor think its got 34mm flat slides on it big rad should i drop kick it to someone eles or keep it

    Yep, thanks frosty. I know about the h cams are better so i will look at putting those in at some stage. I just need to find a larger radiator but haven't found one yet. even an L model ones seem to be hard to come by.

    can you get one of a 1000 of some sort must be someone on trademe with one
