    maybe he has a problem with weight on his wrists? Shouldn't think it would be too difficult to return it to originals. The rest of the bike looks pretty amazing though

    I've often looked at those sort of bars and thought it must make the bike darned hard to steer - even just hanging on would be difficult

    I have problems with my wrists - I ride a cruiser with standard (Normal or whatever) bars and have no problems.
    I think you are trying to be nice here - ape hangers are just wrong, the only time they are cool is on a small child's bicycle.
    (Not that I would say this to a biker with ape hangers)
