    leather pants wanted

or some sort of leg protection
    to fit a 30" waist
not sure what i need, i think leather pants would be good but any sort of protection would do
must be extremely cheap as i'm only likely to use them once or twice a year (i normally just wear jeans when commuting)

My old leather pants are about the right size. I'll send you a pic. Not sure what they're worth.

dude, buy some Cordura pants, then you can wear them thru-out the year and protect yourself from all sorts of crap, plus should the worst happen.. jeans won't protect shit. Spend the money, save yourself from a few years of skin grafts. TradeMe often has a selection of good stuff like that, often for a hundy or less..

commuting for me is 50-60km/h an hour all the way so not really worth shelling out for expensive gear, i'm just wanting a pair of leather pants for maybe $10 -20

k, your legs.. but it only takes one driver to ruin it for you.
I cringe every day at watching a moped rider in shorts and jandles. Must really have no idea about what can happen. I know you have jeans on, but still, it only takes that one time of half a second, and that's it for the rest of your life.. Don't mean to bang on about it, but it's so over-looked at the horrible things I've seen..

Mitch aint a "him", hence why I've no problem with the leather pants being paraded.

*Puts hand up and nods sagely*
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
